A Bold New Home for Clay in Seattle

For nearly 60 years, Pottery Northwest has championed the ceramic arts through innovation in education and arts excellence. Once more, we’re poised to elevate Seattle’s ceramics scene with a state-of-the-art clay studio in the heart of South Lake Union that is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible.

More than a relocation, this is a bold reimagining of what a modern ceramics institution can be - and what Seattle deserves.

Our new 10,000sqft facility will feature:
• Light-filled studios with street-level retail gallery
• Large studio classrooms and plentiful student storage
• Public spaces for exhibitions, artist talks, and workshops
• ADA design and enhanced health and safety systems
• Safe and accessible location bustiling with action
• Flexible spaces, free parking, EV charging, and bike storage
