On June 20, 2026, Pottery Northwest came alive with creativity, connection, and laughter as we hosted our 3rd Annual Celebration of Black Joy!

Our studio was filled with an incredible community of artists, neighbors, and friends who gathered to play with clay, share stories, enjoy each other’s company, and experience the magic of making together. Led by renowned ceramic artist Aisha Harrison, attendees created their own handmade mugs while exploring the joy, freedom, and self-expression that clay makes possible.

At Pottery Northwest, we believe clay is for everyone. Representation matters, and creating spaces where people feel seen, celebrated, and empowered is central to our mission. We are a place where creativity sparks connection, where hands get messy, ideas come to life, and communities grow stronger through the transformative power of art-making.

Help us continue creating moments of belonging, joy, and artistic discovery. You can support our mission with a contribution to Pottery Northwest — click here to help sustain our community-based organization.
