Your Support is an important part of Pottery Northwest!
We take our status as a non-profit educational arts organization seriously. Patron support allows us to carry on projects with deserving groups at, or below, costs. Scholarships for needy students in our community classes, workshops with youth organizations that are stretched for funding, a host of exhibitions and lectures that are offered free to the public, are all part of the equation. We also support artists through our residency program offering subsidized studio space and facilities that are professional. This benefits everyone who works at Pottery Northwest.
Our patrons help make these and other projects possible. Major improvements in the facility, like our new heating system and spray booth, and energy efficient and environmentally safe lighting were made possible in part by that support. It also allows innovative programming, not only in our workshop series, but also in our classes. It has supported a number of community events, including soda kiln and raku kiln firings. These are ways in which patron support comes back to you. We use patron donations to leverage funds from other sources, so your contribution becomes a powerful tool to make it all work. Please consider renewing your patron support this year or joining this growing group of Pottery Northwest's best friends. Your support is so valuable that we even offer discounts on classes and workshops for patrons.
